Matty stops by with some answers on Public Enemies, villain as All-Stars, and Evil-Lyn.
Kastor: Is the 6 inch Public Enemies line done after wave 2? I know most fans would love a Collect and Connect Bane or Doomsday and this could be a great way to get those characters.
Matty: At this point the current Pubic Enemies line will be wrapped up with wave 2.
Kastor: The new articulation on the Public Enemies has led to some joint breakage. The smaller pins at the joints are not as sturdy as the old joints. Are steps being taken to improve these weak spots?
Matty: Yes, I am constantly improving on all aspects of our figures. I’ll pass this specific comment onto design right now! The best way for us to address design issues like this is if you can post images of the exact problem online.
Kastor: Is Digital River also handling the new Online Mattel Store (Shop.mattel.com)?
Matty: No, they are not.
Kastor: The 80's Evil Lyn was a repaint of Teela with a new head. With the new line are you looking to give her an original sculpt or will she have the same treatment as her 80's version?
Matty: I can’t comment on unannounced figures, but the long term plan is to do multiple version of Evil Lyn. (Editors note: This was asked before she was announced last night as the April 2010 figure)
Kastor: Up to this point all the All Star figures in the DCUC line have been heroes, but there are some A-list villains like Lex and Joker that would fit that title. Will we start to see villains get a rerelease in the main line?
Matty: Yes, I will include villains in All Star re-releases down the road.
