A SPECIAL TWO MINUTE PROLOGUE TO THE NEXT CHAPTER OF “THE WALKING DEAD” WILL AIR DURING AN ALL-NEW EPISODE OF “INTO THE BADLANDS” SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 29TH AT 10PM ET/PT
The highly anticipated mid-season finale of “The Walking Dead” will air on Sunday, November 29th at 9pm ET/PT. In this episode, “Start to Finish,” written by Matt Negrete and directed by Michael Satrazemis, trouble finds its way to Alexandria yet again. Only this time, the threat might be too big to defeat. Following the thrilling mid-season finale, a special two minute prologue to the next chapter of “The Walking Dead” will debut during an all-new episode of “Into the Badlands.” The second half of the sixth season will return Sunday, February 14th. Critics continue to rave about season six, including David Sims of TheAtlantic.com, who called last week’s episode, “a very strong episode that linked back to earlier plotlines quite nicely.”
Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, “The Walking Dead” reigns as television’s most watched drama for Adults 18-49. “The Walking Dead” tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse, and follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home. The series stars Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes; Steven Yeun as Glenn; Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon; Chandler Riggs as Carl; Lauren Cohan as Maggie; Danai Gurira as Michonne; Melissa McBride as Carol; Sonequa-Martin Green as Sasha; Lennie James as Morgan. For season six, Scott M. Gimple will return as the series’ showrunner and executive producer along with executive producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero and Tom Luse.
An all new episode of AMC’s original series, “Into the Badlands,” airs on Sunday, November 29th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. On the third episode of the martial arts drama, “White Stork Spreads Wings,” written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar and directed by David Dobkin, As Sunny begins to train M.K., the boy struggles to learn discipline. Meanwhile, Quinn seeks retribution against The Widow and faces the consequences. Critics are already raving about the series, including Kyle Fowle of EW.com who calls the series “a ludicrous, fun, silly, violent marital arts drama that boasts the DNA of The Matrix and The Hunger Games.”
