TV Korner: Mad Men 5.8 – “Lady Lazarus”

It’s been another intense week at SCDP. After last week’s foray into all kinds of disappointments, it seems about time for a little bit of redemption… but coming at it straight away wouldn’t be much fun, so instead “Lady Lazarus” continues to build to a decisive make or break moment for the increasingly conflicted Don Draper, and a subtle cliffhanger that packs way more punch than an horde of zombies or a terrorist threat ever could.

Amazon Gives Joe Fans A Retaliation Preview In Plastic

Rumors of an Amazon exclusive GI Joe Retaliation preview set started swirling months ago, and after a lull of no information, we quickly went from confirmation of the set to an in-stock listing, and now the first batch of Retaliation preview sets are shipping out. This set features four figures from Hasbro’s upcoming Retaliation toy line, in a special display box. Three of the figures seem to be identical to their single carded versions, while the fourth gets a new variant, apparently exclusive to this box set. Ask Mattel 5/1/2012: Why Young Justice Died So Young, Future MOTUC Reveals & More

Since last time we checked in with Mattel, we all received the total bummer news that the Young Justice toy line has been cancelled… In memory of that great toy line that left us all too soon, we dedicated more than a few questions this month to some YJ details, including Mattel’s thoughts on why the line couldn’t continue and the fate of the final 6″ waves shown at Toy Fair 2012.
