On John Blake (Dark Knight Rises Spoilers)

One of the things everyone seems to agree on regarding The Dark Knight Rises is Joseph Gordon Levitt’s rookie cop John Blake.  Blake has the best arc in the movie– and possibly Nolan’s entire trilogy– and his conclusion offers the most fascinating part of the ending of this series.

A Batman Comic Book Did Not Inspire The Aurora Theater Shooting

In light of the tragic shooting at a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, CO– which left over a dozen people dead and three dozen more injured or hospitalized– people are already looking for motives… and unfortunately that likely means the latest round of blaming a comic book for the actions of one mentally unstable person, which is the last thing anyone needs in this time of sadness.

The Avengers Legends Wish List

The Avengers movie was obviously a smash hit, breaking box office records and living up to the potential we all hoped for. The finest toys released for the movie were without a doubt Hasbro’s Legends Series Avengers, which captured the on-screen looks of the super hero team perfectly.  Sadly, the assortment is exclusive to Wal-Mart, notoriously the most difficult retailer at which to find exclusives, but in spite of the difficult hunt the toys have been selling out astonishingly quickly.  Which is exactly why Hasbro needs to hurry up and make more of them as soon as possible.

Marvel Legends’ Next Step

The buzz had been building for years about the Return of Marvel Legends, although the sales of the first two waves of figures came as a surprise to everyone, including Hasbro. Now the company finds themselves in an interesting spot where demand is very high… but they need to think smart if they’re going to keep this line going as strong as we all hope.

Community Will Be Back For Season 4. Dan Harmon Will Not.

When NBC announced the best show on their network, Community, was being picked up for a short fourth season, there was much rejoicing… but now it looks like we may have been a little pre-emptive in that celebration. Community will be coming back in the Fall, but showrunner/ show creator/ overall genius Dan Harmon has been removed as showrunner by Sony.
