The buzz had been building for years about the Return of Marvel Legends, although the sales of the first two waves of figures came as a surprise to everyone, including Hasbro. Now the company finds themselves in an interesting spot where demand is very high… but they need to think smart if they’re going to keep this line going as strong as we all hope.
Comic Con is coming up quick, and Hasbro and Marvel aren’t wasting any more time revealing their Marvel exclusives. Yesterday Hasbro debuted the Masters of Evil, and now Marvel.com has revealed the Legends 3-Pack that’s this year’s SDCC exclusive.

Once again, Mattel is offering pre-orders for their 2012 Comic Con exclusive toys on MattyCollector.com. Attendees of SDCC can place their orders now on the site and pick up their items in person at the show. Over the holiday weekend, the toy company also revealed their Dark Knight Rises exclusive in an… interesting video featuring Marketing Manager Scott “Toy Guru” Neitlich and one heck of a cameo on his desk in the background.
Today, both TriForce and Square Enix announced Q4 2012 release dates for their new Mass Effect 3-themed pieces. Don’t let that stop you from getting your pre-orders in early, though — historically, both companies work with rather limited runs that tend to sell out quickly and, considering the popularity of the source material along with the fact that they all look awesome, these won’t likely last long.
Yesterday marked Marvel’s Social Media Fan Appreciation Day, and amidst the celebration the comics giant took to Twitter and Facebook to begin revealing the third series of Hasbro’s Return of Marvel Legends series, courtesy of package art by artist Clayton Crain. Take a look at the reveals so far!
