One of the most exciting exclusives Hasbro is bringing to Comic Con is the GI Joe Kim Arashikage figure, marking the return of the Joe team’s resident lady ninja to the 25th/ Modern era. With an incredible new sculpt, great accessories and a classic look, I don’t think Jinx could have turned out any better.

Since their debut at Toy Fair in February, I’ve been highly anticipating the release of Playmates’ new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line. Unfortunately, while all four turtles look and feel incredible, the supporting cast received a rather below-average treatment, hurting the line as a whole.

For the past few weeks, collectors everywhere have been staking out Wal-Marts near and far chasing down the impossibly elusive store exclusive Legends Series Avengers. Wal-Mart’s terribly bad distribution, combined with the huge popularity of the movie have made these figures the hardest toys to find at retail this Summer, but they are absolutely worth the blood, sweat and tears it will take to find them.

Mattel’s plans for DC Universe this year seem to be in a constant state of flux, but one thing that’s been consistent (if delayed) has been the new subscription service, Club Infinite Earths. The new series officially started this month, with the first figure– Golden Age Flash. How does he compare to the rest of the DC Universe?

The Amazing Spider-Man movie toys are the most underwhelming toys Hasbro has released in this downer year, but there’s still a few gems in the mix. Case in point, the great-looking Ultimate Doctor Octopus, who is one of the best-looking toys ever made on the eight-appendaged villain. But is he worthy of being called “ultimate”?
