Where To Get the Hardest To Find Force Awakens Toys

force-awakens-wave-3-featThere’s more new Star Wars toys out there than you might realize.

Force Friday was only yesterday, and despite the largely empty shelves of Target and Toys R Us stores nationwide, there’s already MORE Force Awakens toys making their way to retail.  Not only have their been sightings of Black Series 2– that’s the lineup that features Captain Phasma, the Guavian Enforcer, Poe Daemeron, and Constable Zuvio– but the third series of basic figures have also turned up, despite a prior release date of November.

So far, the latest Black Series has only surfaced overseas and at Meijer stores, so if you live in an area where that regional store exists, you might want to check it out.  But the large presence of this wave outside the U.S. makes me think they’ll show up very, very soon at more places… especially considering the impossibly fast sell-through the Black Series saw in the Force Friday sales blitz.

I know not everyone is into the basic 3.75″ figures, but I’m really kinda liking them.  They’ve got a decent amount of detail, at least a few relevant accessories, and the lineup is refreshingly diverse, with a healthy mix of heroes, villains, and weird aliens (a favorite category of mine, when it comes to Star Wars toys).  The latter gets a boost in the third wave, which includes an alien X-Wing pilot named Asty, as well as a very Dune-esque scavenger named Sarco Plank.  This duo is joined by a First Order Snowtrooper, and they’ve been turning up at Kohls stores.  Word of warning– Kohls is gouging on the price tag of these guys… the regular price is $11.99 each, though at the moment they are 10% off.  And if you’re interested in all three (or want to army build some Snow Troopers or get more re-packed Stormtroopers), they have a pretty good coupon that will get you $10 off a purchase of $30 or more.  That drops the price to under $8 per figure (Click Here to download it from Kohls’ website).

Also worth noting– many of the upcoming exclusives Hasbro announced yesterday are also available for pre-order.  Below is the most updated list of links to pre-order:
