Kotobukiya’s 2016 SDCC Exclusives Unveiled

Kotobukiya-SDCC-featKotobukiya is bringing an exclusive Bishoujo, two great new ArtFX+ statues, and more to Comic Con.

Earlier this week, Kotobukiya rolled out their collection of SDCC exclusives, and it’s appropriately comic book-heavy.  Comic Con will see not one but TWO exclusive DC ArtFX+ statues– Clark Kent, based on the ‘Truth’ story arc, and a totally dapper Bruce Wayne, complete with interchangeable rose and Batarang accessories.

On top of that, Kotobukiya is also releasing a new variant of Marvel Bishoujo Lady Deadpool, who brilliantly breaks the fourth wall with her in-scale San Diego Comic Con badge and lanyard, along with a couple of very familiar swag bags to carry, and even a new variant headsculpt.  It’s a super funny design, and the best SDCC tribute exclusive I can remember since NECA’s Comic Con Gizmo from years ago.

So far, there’s no word on whether Koto’s exclusives will be available online, as well (they usually have a limited stock available for non-attendees), but for the time being, you can get more info on each of their four exclusives below:

Sakurai’s Batman KAWAII Series

Sakurai is Kotobukiya’s renowned illustrator and is famous for her cute designs appearing in the es series, in which Japanese anime and game characters are redesigned into a cute, super deformed style. Sakurai makes her debut into the American comics’ world starting with the Batman KAWAII series! Don’t miss your chance to own this event only, exclusive rubber charm set of four characters including Batman, Robin, Joker and Harley Quinn. These make the perfect accessories for backpacks, purses, key chains, lanyards and cell phones. Collect the entire set which also includes a special cardboard holder designed especially for SDCC attendees!

ArtFX+ ‘Truth’ Clark Kent

From the Action Comics storyline “Truth” Clark Kent has been stripped of his powers and exposed for who he really is amongst the citizens of Metropolis. No longer the “Man of Steel” but now a “Man of the People” Clark begins the long journey to reclaim what was once his and discover who he is in the process.

This limited edition Bruce Wayne ARTFX+ statue stands in 1:10 scale and includes two interchangeable accessories, a rose and a batarang along with an a magnetized base. The perfect addition to your bat family shelf!

And when she does she comes fully prepared with her Comic-Con badge and lanyard, extra large bag to carry her swag and Gyro in hand to munch on while waiting in line for Hall H!

The Lady Deadpool SDCC exclusive edition features a brand-new head sculpt and accessories including Gyro, badge, lanyard and bag with the official Comic-Con logo on it.
