When this figure was announced as a DCIE Subscription figure most people were excited! Fire is the longest serving member of the Justice League International. This Brazilian beach model turned secret agent was in a pyroplasmic explosion that ended up giving her fire type abilities thus giving her the moniker Fire. The only sour note to this figure is we will not get her counterpart the lovely Ice since the 2014 subscription is in limbo (but probably cancelled).
DC’s Club Infinite Earths will come to an end in 2013. We’ve seen six figures that would have seen release next year, along with several other Classics that have gone unreleased… so where does Mattel’s 6″ DC Universe go from here?
For the past couple of weeks since SDCC I have been waiting to see if this year’s DCU Club Infinite Earths subscription would pull through and go forward. Well on the Friday before the final day it was at 51% and looking like it wasn’t going to make it, and honestly many DC fans knew it. Seemed as if many of us were tired of Mattel and Toy Guru’s crap meter, constant babbling on things are getting better, to stop dwelling on the past, and the “sub or die” wording.
It took a while, but Wally West’s Flash finally races into Mattel’s DC Universe.

The 2013 DC Club Infinite Earths incentive set delivers the founders of the Brotherhood of Evil, Monsieur Mallah and the Brain, and this villainous duo is a more than welcome addition to Mattel’s DC Universe collection.
Mattel had a great display at New York Comic Con, with the chance to get up-close looks at their upcoming lines, including Masters of the Universe, DC Unlimited, Batman Unlimited and more.
Just before this Labor Day weekend, Mattel is back with a new round of answers! This time out, Mattel shares what they took away from the close call with their 2013 subscriptions… plus we get some details on MOTUC’s Jitsu and the Watchmen Club Black Freighter line!
