Last night ABC aired the new TV special Marvel Studios: Assembling A Universe, which was surprisingly informative about Marvel Studios’ history and what they have on the horizon. The most exciting piece featured Avengers: Age of Ultron, offering a first look at the character designs of the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, as well as Tony Stark’s Hulkbuster armor.
As we’ve come to expect from Marvel, the designs are awesome– practical while still staying very much in line with the characters. This Quicksilver design is worlds better than what we saw for X-Men Days of Future Past, and it’s a telling sign of how well Marvel Studios gets their characters and their properties. I love the style, and I think the siblings will look great alongside the Avengers we’ve already seen.
