AXE COP Makes His Animated Debut, With The Perfect Voice

Axe Cop, the most kick-ass web comic in pretty much forever, is getting an animated series on Fox next Summer, and the Halloween clip they just released reveals the PERFECT voice for our axe-wielding hero.

If you are cool, you’ve probably know about Axe Cop already.  You also have likely heard Axe Cop will be joining Fox’s Animation Domination lineup next year (with any luck balancing out the Seth McFarlane ratio to a more palatable level).

What you may not know is, the cartoon will feature the very best voice actor possible for the lead– Ron-Fucking-Swanson himself, Nick Offerman!!!

I cannot think of a more perfect person to voice the hero in this cartoon adaptation of 5-year-old Malachai Nicolle and 29-year-old brother Ethan’s awesome comic.  Whether you’re a fan already or this is your introduction to the amazingly weird world of Axe Cop– complete with its absurdist logic and genuine childlike imagination– the Halloween video below will make you a fan.

It’s perfect for this Halloween season.  It’s a perfect adaptation, and the perfect voice.

It’s just perfect.
