Check Out NECA’s Cherno Alpha

cherno-alpha-featNECA reveals a turn around teaser of Pacific Rim’s Russian Jaeger, set to hit stores this Spring.

I love NECA’s Pacific Rim collection.  Not only was it a surprise hit series– now carrying into its second year of toys– but NECA has doubled down to focus on bulked up size and added articulation to their latest figures, which look fantastic based on what we’ve seen.

Now they’ve shared a turn around look at Cherno Alpha, the Russian mech from the movie who was most definitely one of the most visually distinct of the bunch.  I loved this big, clunky Jaeger, and his nuclear silo-style head especially, and NECA’s figure really captured his look.

Cherno will be released in Pacific Rim series 3, along with Coyote Tango… They will be joined this Spring by the first wave of deluxe Kaiju figures, including Trespasser and an all new battle damaged Knifehead.  And there’s more Pacific Rim coming from NECA later this year!  C’mon Toy Fair…
