World came out this week that once again Marvel Studios will be skipping San Diego Comic Con. So what does this mean for fans?
This was a big year for Marvel Studios with the release of Avengers 2 and Ant-Man is finally getting a release, but that is it. All their other films are in the works, so there is not much to talk about this year. With Cap and the new Spider-man a year away, rush footage would be the only thing to show. They also held their big conference earlier in the year, releasing all the info on upcoming films for the next 4 years. Normally this would have happened at Comic Con, but it seems more and more these days studios are pulling out of the crowded show.
So what does this mean for the show? Well it gives WB and DC the chance to step up and the be the highlight of the show, but can they? They have put a lot of doubts in fanboy heads, but they will surely shake Hall H.
So what do you think of this trend of big names skipping the biggest show of the year?
