Edgar Wright’s The World’s End Gets A Second Poster

The conclusion of Wright’s “Blood and Ice Cream” trilogy reveals a new poster and the movie’s release date.

Edgar Wright is currently filming The World’s End, which sees him close out the loose trilogy of (thus far) incredible films with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.  This new one sounds as entertaining as one could hope from the creators of the brilliant Shaun of the Dead, and the even better in hindsight Hot Fuzz, as a group of friends try to relive the greatest pub crawl of all time, only to find that the fate of the entire human race may rest on the outcome of their journey, which ends at the final bar on their tour, called “The World’s End.”

The premise sounds very close to the oddness from Spaced, the show that brought these guys together in the first place, and the new poster, while lacking the simplicity of the excellent teaser sheet which unveiled each stop on the pub crawl, I like the apocalyptic vibe of the new one, which somehow reminds me of something out of Hitchhiker’s Guide.
