Hasbro Announces More Star Wars Exclusives For SDCC 2018

Hasbro has announced their Star Wars Black Series exclusives for the SDCC 2018, and they are everything that exclusives should be.

Comic Con excluives are some of the hardest things to get for collectors to get their hands on. There are long lines, high prices, and not to mention the cost of going to the Con itself. When the exclusives are essential to a collection it tends to alienate the fans. Hasbro found that balance this year with their Star Wars Black Series exclusives for SDCC.

Han Solo in his Empire Strikes Back outfit is accomplished by a mynock and breathing gear in a Falcon inspired box. The only down side to this is Leia and Chewie will not have their own masks, so hopefully for those who want to recreate this scene at home the Star Wars team will find a way to get us some extras. The price is also perfect. For a new figure with custom packaging and accessories, he is about the same as the store exclusives we have seen over the past year.

The other set is part of the Centerpiece Collection, recreating the battle between Kylo and Rey from The Foce Awakens. The set will have a mist option to create smoke and a LED backdrop. The Rey looks to be sculpted in to the base, but Kylo looks to have some joints. So it looks like in addition to the base you will also get an updated battle damaged Kylo Ren.
