Four Horsemen To Launch Mythic Legions Kickstarter in February

mythic-leagions-featThe next big thing from the Four Horsemen kicks off next month!

Man, the Four Horsemen are on a roll.  They just released the eagerly-anticipated Gothtropolis Ravens, they’ve got more Power Lords waiting in the wings, and now their next original property, Mythic Legions, is set to launch on Kickstarter in less than a month.

We’ve all been anxiously awaiting more details on Mythic Legions since the prototypes were first revealed at the Horsemen’s Toy fair party in February 2014, and now, a year later, here we are.  I love the aesthetic– there is a level of detail in these figures that goes beyond many of the Horsemen’s recent sculpts, and I love the sword and sorcery approach to this new universe.  The knights and barbarians look awesome, but they don’t hold a candle to the skeletons and orcs and other monsters, in my opinion.  Thankfully, we won’t have to choose, as the line will apparently encompass all these creatures and more!

I’m betting the Kickstarter will make its debut Toy Fair weekend (Valentine’s Day weekend, to the laymans)… which gives us just about three weeks to start pinching those pennies.  This will be an “all-in” sorta Kickstarter, for sure.

Here’s the latest, from the Horsemen:

Four Horsemen Studios is excited to announce that our long awaited Mythic Legions Kickstarter campaign is just around the corner! With a target release period of sometime around the second week of February, Mythic Legions will finally be unleashed. We will be furiously finishing and fine tuning the prototypes for both the initial offerings as well as awesome stretch goal items over the next two weeks to ensure that there are dozens of amazing items to choose from.

Please keep a lookout over the next couple of weeks for plenty of Mythic Legions announcements including updates on scale, character selection, articulation, and much more. For up to the minute updates check us out at, on Facebook at, and on Instagram – @Four_Horsemen_Design
