Jurassic Park 4 Gets A Title & Release Date

jurassic-world-featIt’s Jurassic World… we’re all just living in it.

The fourth Jurassic Park movie now has a name, a release date, a logo… and possibly a hint at what to expect in the newest outing.  Jurassic World will hit theaters on June 12, 2015, going head to head with a summer that will see the Avengers sequel, Batman vs. Superman, Star Wars Ep 7 and lots more.

As for the name, I’d assume it’s simply the name of the new, fully opened theme park that’s rumored to be the main location of the new film, but then again, there’s this:

This proof of concept video popped up after Star Wars Celebration in Germany a month or so ago, sharing the same title of Jurassic World.  So the logical assumption is that this video (which focuses on style and is obviously NOT a finished product) is for the new movie… which it may be.  However, Devin Faraci at Badass Digest is saying Universal asserts the video is actually for a Jurassic World video game.  Which, I guess could make sense, especially if the game is based on the movie.

So what will Jurassic World really entail?  Will it be another theme park gone mad like the first movie?  Or will it focus on dinosaurs rampaging everywhere, devouring surfers and what have you?  My gut instinct says a little of column A and a little of column B, but we’ll find out for sure in June 2015.
