Kastors Korner TPB Pick of the Week: Astonishing Spider-Man & WolverineSpider-Man and Wolverine are teammates on the Avengers but they are not exactly the best of friends. What happens when two of Marvel’s big dogs get stuck on Earth together?  You pick this book by writer Jason Aaron and Art by the legendary Adam Kubert.

During a bank robbery gone wrong Spider-Man and Wolverine find themselves transported millions of years into the past during and extinction level event that will wipe out life on the planet. Their lives are spared as they are mysteriously pulled through time into a bleak future. They MUST work together to survive, can both the Web-head and the old Canuklehead do it?

These random time jumps have a purpose and when Wolverine figures it out NOTHING will stop him from his revenge…not even Spider-Man.

This book had some great points and fantastic art. My only gripe is when the heroes “bling” out their costumes to fight the evil at the end. I understand the reason but it was one of those moments where I had to say eh! I give this book a 7 out of 10.
