pac-rim-Yoji-ShinkawaThe latest incredible Pacific Rim poster is available now at Regal Cinemas… find out how you can score your copy.

Not only was Pacific Rim an awesome movie, it has inspired some truly gorgeous poster art (justifiably, since the Jaeger and Kaiju designs are so good).  Mondo revealed their Comic Con exclusive prints which are stunning, and now there’s another beautiful piece, courtesy of Konami artist Yoji Shinkawa, which is available exclusively at Regal Cinemas for their 3D screenings of the movie.

It’s a beautiful piece in Shinkawa’s style, which matches the film’s aesthetic brilliantly, and this piece would look incredible in any Pacific Rim collection.  I love it!

Here’s details on the new poster, and how you can bring one home:

Artist Yoji Shinkawa created this unique poster for PACIFIC RIM.  Moviegoers who see the film in RealD 3D at Regal Cinemas will each be given the poster, attached and below, as a special give-a-way.

About the artist:

Yoji Shinkawa joined KONAMI in 1994.

He soon caught the eye of Hideo Kojima with his unique artistic sense and was named the Lead Character and Mech Artist for the METAL GEAR SOLID Series in 1998. He was also in charge of the Mech design for ZONE OF THE ENDERS (2001) and ZONE OF THE ENDERS: The 2^nd RUNNER (2003). In 2004, he participated in the production of “GODZILLA: FINAL WARS” as the Mech Designer.

Currently, he is in production as the Art Director of METAL GEAR SOLID V THE PHANTOM PAIN.
