Anthony Mackie Takes Flight In Captain America Sequel

anthonymackie kastorskornerIron Man 3 soars into theaters this weekend (check out Bill’s mostly spoiler free look at the film) and the first images of Anthony Mackie as Falcon start to make their rounds on the internet.

In the second installment of Captain America story, Captain Rogers is on the trial of an international assassin know as the Winter Soldier, who turns out to be his former sidekick/ partner Bucky. Joining Cap on his journey is the Shield Agent Falcon. Up until now there have only been a few images of concept art for the Falcon, but this week we got to see the first look at Anthony Mackie in almost full Falcon costume. From the first images it look the the classic sidekick of Captain America is sporting his new Ultimate look in the film. Missing are the wings that give Falcon the ability to soar. From what we can see they might be added later as CGI.
