Updated: The Mario Bros Get A Dark Reboot
The week screenwriter and director, Evan Daugherty, put a spin on the classic video game franchise in a series of shorts in the Four Players.
Working with Maker Studios Daugherty has created 4 live action shorts about the world of the the most famous video game heroes. The first two shorts, The Fixer (Mario) & The Addict (Luigi), introduce the brothers both in bad shape, having to rise above their issues to help a friend.
They are very gritty versions of the characters but are very well done and written. Check out all four shorts below:
