Mondo’s New Alien Posters Are Insane

alien-mondo-tyler-stout-feaThe latest Mondo poster pays perfect tribute to the all-time sci-fi horror classic.

Artist Tyler Stout has created some amazing art for Mondo, but his latest poster, commissioned for a screening of Alien at the Alamo Drafthouse Ritz, is one of the coolest he’s ever done, hands down.

Stout’s image captures the bio-mechanical feel of Ridley Scott’s masterpiece brilliantly, and I love the stark black, grey and red pallet he uses (although the alternate green variant, which glows in the goddamn dark, might be even more eye catching).

The standard edition poster (red) is limited to 510 prints, and will cost $60.  The Glow in the Dark variant is limited to 235 and will set you back $110.  Were I a rich man, my home’s walls would be filled top to bottom with Mondo posters.  As it stands, I love this Alien poster enough that I might go for it whenever Mondo randomly puts it up for sale today.

If you want to compete with me for one of these killer Alien screenprints, follow MondoNews on Twitter.  They will go up for sale at a random time throughout the day today, January 30th.  Good luck!
