NECA Shares 2014 Previews For Pacific Rim, Aliens & More

NECA shares an early look at their 2014 products as a special Christmas Eve treat to fans.

If you thought NECA’s banner year in 2013 was a fluke, think again.  The ever-Follow-worthy NECA Twitter feed shared some cool previews and behind the scenes pictures of a few of the projects coming from the toymakers in 2014, and it’s shaping up to be the most exciting year yet for NECA (and all of us collectors, for that matter).

NECA Brand Manager Randy Falk shared a collection of pictures as a Christmas Eve treat to fans, giving us a look at the work in progress Cherno Alpha from Pacific Rim Series 3, concept art of the accessories from the Renegade Predator (pretty much confirming we should see him in the next Kenner themed Predator wave in 2014), packaged pics of Aliens Series 2, an updated look at the Nostromo suit from Alien, and even a first look at a classic Ape Soldier from Planet of the Apes!

This is barely scratching the surface, in a year that will also see more 18″ scale Pacific Rim figures, old AND new Planet of the Apes toys, Godzilla and lots more… NECA always has a great showing at Toy Fair each February, but I have a feeling this year’s showcase might be their most exciting ever!
