NECA’s #AlienDay Kenner Ripley Figure Revealed!

The first Kenner tribute in NECA’s Aliens toy line is here!  See Space Marine Ripley in all her glory, and find out where you can find her on #AlienDay next Tuesday!

I am so excited for #AlienDay next Tuesday, and NECA is here to ramp that excitement up even more.  Today they showed off their new Space Marine Ripley action figure, the first Kenner-inspired toy in their Aliens collection.  She’ll be followed by a whole wave of Kenner tributes in Aliens Series 10, but Ripley herself will be available in just a few days.

From the muted red and blue of her outfit, to the new accessories like the scarf and bandolier, to the Kenner-inspired packaging and reprinted Dark Horse mini-comic, this figure looks perfect.  And the fact that she’s packing a Smart Gun– the debut of this sculpt in NECA’s toy line– only makes this figure better!

Ripley will be available while supplies last at Toys R Us and Hastings stores, starting April 26th.  She’ll also be available in very limited quantities online at Toys R Us (here’s a special link to take you to the sales page).

I can’t think of a more perfect tribute figure than this to launch the Kenner collection, and Ripley is only the beginning for NECA’s #AlienDay plans.  Next Tuesday is the day images of the eagerly-anticipated Vasquez and Newt action figures will make their debut, and NECA promises even more Aliens announcements and reveals on the 26th as well.  Plus, NECA has contributed to the Aliens Loot Crate, which will also go for sale on the 26th.
