New Wreck-It Ralph Trailer Is Packed With 8-Bit Bliss

Disney releases the new Wreck-It Ralph trailer, and it’s packed with loads of potential– and great 8-bit character cameos.

A few years ago, I would never have even considered being more excited for a Disney proper movie than a Pixar release, but judging from the new trailer, Wreck-It Ralph is going to blow Brave out of the water.

Ralph has been one of the more interesting ideas to come out of the Mouse House in quite some time, the story of an arcade game bad guy who decides to leave his game to change his ways and finally be a hero, and it’s loaded with some phenomenal voice talent including John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch.

But that’s all been out there for a while now– what this new trailer really sells is the depth of actual video game characters are featured in the movie.  Everyone from Mario Bros’ Bowser to Q-Bert, to Tapper the freakin’ bartender show up in this trailer, and it really ramped up the nostalgia factor for me.  I dare any quarter-pumping 80’s kid to not watch this trailer with a big smile on your face.
