First Pacific Rim Toys Revealed
Check out the first two giant robot toys from NECA’s Pacific Rim series.
NECA’s Pacific Rim Jaegers have been revealed! The official Pacific Rim Facebook page has debuted images of Gipsy Danger and Crimson Typhoon, two of the massive, monster-fighting robots from Guillermo Del Toro’s new movie.
I like the looks of both these robots, and the toys definitely seem to do them justice. This is the first time I’ve seen the colors on Typhoon (crimson, duh), but he looks great and the two robots seem to compliment one another well.
What I’m still dying to know is what scale these figures will be? There’s been rumors they’ll clock in around 8″ which would be cool… but I’m still really holding out hope we’ll see them as MASSIVE 18″ figures with 3.75″ pilots instead. We’ll find out Sunday for sure, as we hit NECA’s showcase exhibit at NY Toy Fair… check back soon for updates!
