Previews Exclusive One:12 Judge Dredd Revealed

Mezco Toyz offers up a Cursed Earth variant of their upcoming Judge Dredd figure, the next release in the One:12 Collective.

The One:12 Collective is absolutely one of the most exciting toy lines of 2015.  I’ve finally put my thoughts together on the Dark Knight Returns Batman available now (look for my review later this week), but in short, he’s an incredible action figure.

I’m even more excited for Judge Dredd, and now Big Bad Toy Store has revealed the best version of the 2000AD anti-hero we’ve seen yet.  The Cursed Earth Dredd variant is a Previews exclusive item, set to be released this August, which includes all the same lawgiving gear as the standard edition Dredd, plus an awesome weathered poncho, the perfect garment for the Judge when he needs to survive beyond the borders of Mega City One.

There’s no word yet on any differences with the figure beneath this cloak– I’m personally really hoping for a navy blue uniform, as we saw at Toy Fair earlier this year– but the extra accessory is worth picking up this version in my book, especially after seeing what an amazing job Mezco did in terms of fabric choices with their Batman.
