This is going to be a trippy, monster-filled gory good time.
I tend to be one of those people who gets bummed out after Christmas, as Winter proper sets in, and we suffer through a cold and mostly uneventful six weeks until Toy Fair. But not this year– because Don Coscarelli’s John Dies At The End is hitting screens both big and small right after the holidays!
Based on the awesomely demented novel by David Wong, John Dies At The End is story that’s clearly in good hands with an icon like Coscarelli (Phantasm, Bubba Ho Tep… but I hope I didn’t need to tell you that). The fantastic new red band trailer proves it, with a fast paced, funny and exciting rhythm that totally sells this movie as a faithful adaptation to the modern cult classic.
The movie hits On Demand December 27th, and hits theaters on January 25th. Expect a full review in early 2013… but in the meantime, here’s the trailer!
