First Look SDCC 2018 Hasbro Star Wars Centerpiece

The Star Wars Centerpiece Collection continues to impress with this new SDCC Exclusive. 

The Centerpiece collection in the Star Wars line is made for taking pictures for sure. This set will see a retail release, but will be pared down compared to this SDCC set. Rey is charging off a cliff at Kylo and it captures the look and feel of the Force Awakens. Rey is a non-articulated figure attach to the base, but she looks great in the attack pose. Kylo is a fully poseable Black Series figure, complete with ripped robes and bleeding scares galore.

The real appeal of the set though is the environment. The snowy rocky ground is only enhanced by the river of magma running down the center of the piece. With the press of a button though the scene comes alive. The magma glows, there is a well for water that creates a mist effect, an the back wall glows. The team went all out with this set, making it a true centerpiece for a collection. This could stand on it’s own with out any other figures, but the fact there are pegs for as many figures as you want why not add more.

This is my first of the Centerpiece line, and I have to say how impressive this set is. I will not be going in to storage and will be misting my desk every chance I get!
