SDCC 2019- The NECA Booth

NECA once again wins SDCC with one of the busiest booths of the show, only rivaled by one other in my opinion , Hasbro. 

The NECA booth was a hard one to take pictures of this year, because of the long lines for the exclusives. Once they sold out for the show we got a good look at the TMNT display, which was one of the most talked about displays of the show. While we don’t know all the break downs of how the TMNT figures will be packaged from the show we do know about the next series. Series 2 will include Bebop & Rocksteady, Foot Soldier 2-pack, and 2 two packs of the Turtles in the brighter, style guide colors. The rest will make up waves 3 and 4 in 2020. Slash, Leatherhead, Metalhead, Casey, April will all be part of the line, the Battle Damage Foot Soldiers may be in those sets as well, or may be contained in an Ultimate Foot Soldier figure, which will include lots of accessories and alternate body parts.The Roadkill Rodneys will be sold in a 2-pack or 3-pack, but cost will be a factor, and some teases in the booth include animated style Rock Soldiers, Triceratons, and Krang’s android body.

In addition to the 8 inch clothed offerings we got a close up of Sloth and Chunk, a look at the bad gremlins army builders. and a lot more horror coming. NECA is one example of a company with a great creative drive that gets what fans want. They are able to keep working at a line to make it as complete as possible no matter how long it takes to get to the fans.
