Super7’s Alien Egg Chamber is So Freakin Cool

Super7 offers up the first ReAction playset & more exclusives at Comic Con.

I figured Funko would be the only source for ReAction exclusives at this year’s Comic Con, but Super7– their partners in this awesome retro toy line– are bringing their own exclusives to the show, including an incredible Egg Chamber playset.

This thing is great– it’s a resin base with cardboard backdrop that will make the perfect display piece for the Alien ReAction figures, and the design is sure to harken back memories of the old Kenner Star Wars Caninta set.

It also comes packed in an amazing box– I love the mid-scream expression on that little girl’s face!  It’s a great piece; very thoughtful and well planned out.  Unfortunately Super7 is only offering a very limited run of the set– only 250 pieces will be available– but I’m sincerely hoping both Super7 and Funko are taking notice of the positive buzz on this set, so ideally we can see something similar get a mass release that every collector can own.

On top of that, Super7 will offer an exclusive version of The Gimp from the upcoming Pulp Fiction ReAction line (he’s packed in his box) and a set of Alien mystery figures, packed in a great looking Alien egg package.  The figures inside will be new designs and decos, which will allegedly be released at general retail later, in less fun packaging.

Super7 x Funko: Gimp in a Box ReAction Figure

It’s time to Bring out the Gimp! One of the strangest characters seen in the cult movie phenomenon Pulp Fiction is being released from his basement dungeon as a poseable ReAction Figure! Now you can hide the Gimp away in your own authentically detailed wooden crate and bring him out to play when you need that special kind of release only he can provide. The 3.75” tall ReAction Figure features an ornately detailed outfit and comes packaged inside a wooden storage box. Limit to one per person per day of show. $25 ea.
