DC Comics reboots Batgirl… again. I still don’t know if it was necessary, but despite my personal issues, the book was still a good read. 

Gail Simone’s Batgirl: Death of the Family is an excellent addition to the Death of the Family story. Because of Barbara Gordon’s past history with the Joker, this is one of the more personal, and darker, volumes in the saga.

Comics change costumes, writers, and artist all the time… Can Batgirl survive all three at once?

Since 2011, Batgirl has been written by Gail Simone. Now three years later, Simone is signing off on the title (this time on her own terms) with issue 34 that came out August 13th.
