Not unlike the movie itself, NECA’s recent Django Unchained toy line has been met with criticism, with some labeling the toys as offensive, based on the property’s connection to slavery. I didn’t talk about it in my review, so I’m talking about it now.
2012 was such an amazing year for movies, it took another week of consideration (and yes, catching up on movies I missed)… but here, at last, is my list of the Ten Best movies of the year.

The best part of going to see Prometheus this weekend was the trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained, and it’s so good it was worth the admission price all on its own. I’m suddenly wondering how I can make it until Christmas before getting to see this movie!
