Now that the house that the mouse built owns Star Wars, it was very apparent in the Once Upon a Time Season Opener.
Season Four’s two hour finale is filled with twists, turns, humor, and maybe some unexpected consequences.
Moms may not always be perfect, but in the end all that matters is that they love their children unconditionally. Every parent is different and will follow a different set of rules. The same goes for the relationships between Maleficent and Lily, Snow White and Emma, even Cora and Regina.
Once Upon a Time is building up to the season finale. Things are starting to heat up, temperatures are rising and so are the emotions. What really happened between Lily and Emma is finally revealed. Can their friendship be mended or are they destined to be enemies?
Ursula was evil with a heart of goodness buried inside- can the same be said about Cruella? What made Cruella the evil thing she is today? One thing is certain after this episode, “if she doesn’t scare you no evil thing will.”
Emma is still coming to grips about the truth her parents were keeping from her, but now she has the Author to hunt down. Gold is back in Storybrooke and he has some important secrets to reveal – some more shocking than others.
Robert Burns once wrote, “The best laid plans of mice and men often go astray.” Truer words have never been spoken- especially when it comes to the heroes of Storybrooke. Might the author be able to save them? Or can the author’s plan be the one that destroys them all?
“Those poor unfortunate souls.. So sad… So true.” Here we learn Ursula’s tragic backstory. She wasn’t born a villain, it wasn’t always for revenge. But can a purer heart mean she has a chance at a happy ending after all?
The season of Once Upon a Time is all about getting happy endings. But what lengths will people go to- both heroes and villains to get their happy ending?
Nightmares can come true in Storybrooke. Villains and heroes alike cannot escape that truth. While each side tries to protect secrets from the past they may be thwarting any chance to discover new information to unlock their future.
While Elsa’s icy touch is still alive and well in New England, the cold has left Storybrooke. Our heroes get to relish in, although short lived, something close to peace and quiet. Just when all seemed be sunshine and rainbows, the Queens of Darkness arrive with a very important stowaway.
The residents of Storybrooke have been as close as family. So, who are the newest members of Snow and Charming’s twisted family tree? The answer may be surprising. And, as Emma says early on in the episode, “Well, who doesn’t love a surprise?”
