Bif Bang Pow!, the collectibles manufacturing offshoot of Entertainment Earth, has been releasing a diverse range of products based on many tried and true properties sure to warm many a geek’s heart.  Their 2016 Toy fair booth showed off some of their current projects, including awesome retro style figures based on Flash Gordon, rock group KISS, The Big Bang Theory and new additions to The Twilight Zone collection.

But Bif Bang Pow! does more than retro toys, to be sure… they like to shake things up, and always offer some cool and inventive new formats for beloved properties.  Whether it’s the fantastic 12″ action figure of The Dude from The Big Lebowski, or their Black Series-esque 6″ action figures based on Penny Dreadful, or even the wooden nesting dolls inspired by the characters from The Big Bang Theory, this is one of the most impressively diverse catalogs of anyone at Toy Fair.

Right before this year’s show, Bif Bang Pow! acquired Marvel to their ever-growing stable of properties, and they’re delivering adorable wooden retro toys based on these characters and more in their Peg Pals collection.  These collectible figures stand about 2″ tall, and harken back to the Fisher Price Little People we all grew up with (provided you’re around my age, I guess).  This collection will span Marvel and DC’s universes, as well as other properties such as KISS, and they look really fun.  Bif Bang Pow! is already thinking about growing the line with not only more characters, but with vehicles and playsets, which would interact perfectly with the figures’ peg shaped bodies.
