TPB Pick of the Week: Fly

What if there was a drug that gave you the power to fly? How far would you go to possess it and who would you hurt to get your next “fix?” Writer Raven Gregory (The Waking and the Wonderland trilogy) tells us a story of three young teens that are introduced to a designer drug that gives them the ability to fly. They will each learn the costs that come with soaring in the sky and the fall that comes with it. Don’t miss the series that was quoted as being “a powerful story of addiction.” The story is set in a world where the super heroes are not really heroes at all. Eric J’s art work is beyond amazing. Its not everyday that the interior is as good or better than the cover.

The characters go on a major journey of self discovery and you can tell by the writers words that she has told a very personal story set in a fantasy tone. This series is not suitable for young readers as there is some mature situations that 13 and under are not ready for.

Collects issues 1-5 of Fly. I have read volume one and cannot wait to get volume two in to read.
